Edward M. Beidel

Born: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Ed was introduced to golf at an early age while caddying at the Fox Chapel Golf Club, Pittsburgh Field Club and Oakmont Country Club in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In 1976, he graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture, He then went to work as Director of Golf Design at Hassenplug Associates Inc.

In 1993 he established his own firm. His designs have been creative, practical and sustainable. As a smaller design firm by choice, he is personally involved in all project phases from initial site selection and conceptual planning through the construction process.
